I usually illustrate such things as tall ships, sailing vessels, tugboats, wildlife, and farm scenes. However Phoenix Lights UFO is a departure. I have illustrated the reports of thousands of ordinary people from housewives to aviation engineers, from children to professional business people who have reported seeing a gigantic, two mile wide, chevron shaped UFO over Arizona March 13, 1997. Who knows what they saw? The artwork is based on reading their descriptions. I illustrate a variety of subjects and trying to create artwork of such unusual events is a challenge that I enjoy. If they indeed travel to Earth from somewhere in the Galaxy I hope they are looking for artwork to take home as a memento of their visit, maybe a tote bag, or a beach towel.
